Team,
What a season! We started with all kinds of problems and depleted numbers, but we grew stronger by recruiting new players and never doubting ourselves. We worked hard in all aspects of the game. Despite facing injuries, we still managed to reach two finals and had a clean sweep on our tour to Ireland. Even when we received only criticism and no outside help, you showed remarkable mental resilience, passion, and belief in one another—qualities that not even the Leinster metro finalists could overcome.
Every player stepped up and fought for the team. As coaches, we could not ask for more. We faced challenges in the finals due to injuries and poor officiating, but just imagine how strong we could have been if our team had been fully fit all season!
We bounced back again and again, demonstrating discipline, structure, and unwavering resilience. The last two matches were a pleasure to watch: great attacking rugby, solid defense, and matching the quality, intensity, and skill of a team that had just beaten Black Rock in the semi-finals and plays rugby every weekend.
Let no one diminish your achievements or your personal and team development. You all know what it means to have your backs against the wall and the grit it takes to play without reserves while managing injuries. We are not only proud of the way you played but also of your polite and respectful behavior off the pitch.
Hold your heads high and take a well-earned break, but remember to keep fit for next season!

Team good result in yesterday’s match, 41-12 vs Hammarlund.
Our strength and fitness won the game and although the first half was not great, we wore them done, with carry after carry so by the second half they had no energy left.
This was very impressive to see and all about mind-set. We only had one reserve, they had four but in the last quarter we agreed to 13 aside, as 5 opposition players were out. All our players still wanted to play.
This is a great foundation for our team - you all fought for each other, never giving up, despite being behind for the whole of the first half. Even the second try against us showed grit in defence. Their 10 got past our first line of defence but three of you scrambled back to cover our line, only to be wrong footed by exceptional foot work.
We do need to improve our game management, as the first half we put them under considerable pressure and left a number tries un-scored.
Bearing in mind this was our first proper game of the season, it was a solid start.
Well done to Thor for getting man of the match last week and to Hanok for getting man of the match this week. Both weeks it has been a tough decision as there have been so many outstanding performances.

The Hammerlund Photograher, Magnus, has kindly shared the photos he took for this match and Tumba 5’s - they are all in Svenskalag Bildgalleri.
See you all at training this week!
